Sarah Elizabeth Calhoun

Sarah Elizabeth Calhoun was born August 1st, 1945 in Sequin, Tx. to the parents of Zelmo and Florence Williams. She attended Ball High School in Sequin. She later moved to Wichita Falls Tx, in 1961 where she met Jerry M. Calhoun. They got married and started a family and had ten beautiful children. Sarah's life passion was taking care of children and she started her own daycare business at a very young age. She then later moved to Dallas Tx, in 1973 where she continued to babysit until 2004 when she took ill. Sarah was a giver and she gave unselfishly. She loved playing dominoes, decorating, cooking and she was a die hard Cowboys fan.

Sarah loved all of her ten children, 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents Zelmo and Florence Williams. Her late Ex-husband Jerry M. Calhoun Sr., Three of her sons Jerry M. Calhoun Jr, Zelmo Calhoun and Christopher Calhoun.

Sarah was survived by two siblings and seven children. Siblings, Elroy Williams (Mary) of Dallas and Loretta Fisher of Wichita Falls. Children, daughters Countess Mcdaniel (John), Jacqueline Burris (Kenny), Carla Calhoun, Cheneque Calhoun, Catherine Shields (Chris), Jerri Calhoun and one son Courtney Calhoun. Two daughter in-laws Elda Calhoun, and Cathy Calhoun. Two life-long friends Lessie B., and Lynnda Hunter. Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
