Rose Marie Brown, born to Leatrice and Samuel Griffin, was a graduate of The University of North Texas, a member of Phi Kappa Phi, and A TARA Delegate. She was also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She had several significant positions of employment through her life including her long tenure with the United States Post Office, her work as a masseuse, and as a real estate agent.
Rose gave her life to Christ many years ago and was a member of Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church at the time of her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Brown Jr.
Rose leaves behind many loving family members including her son, Paul A. Brown; siblings, Samuel L. Griffin, Titus L. Griffin (Colette), Bethurel Griffin, Mary Ann Scott and Phyllis Griffin-Jones; respectively, one aunt, Myretha Clark and she also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Revelation 21:4 "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away."
