Ronald Lee McElroy

Ronald Lee Mc Elroy, age 78, entered into life on December 15,1940 in Oklahoma. Ron entered into rest on June 5, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Ron graduated High School in Maryland after relocating with his family, and then he attended the American University in Washington D.C.

Ron proudly served his country and joined the United States Air Force in 1962. He later met and married his wife, Kathy.

Ron's professional career was in men's fine tailored clothing, assisting customers in the retail industry. After retiring from his career, Ron decided to go back to school where he attended Richland Community College and in Feb 2012 Ron started working for Marshall's as a people greeter. Someone who never met a stranger, his warmth and consideration was given to everyone he met. There was nothing Ron liked better than an interesting, engaging conversation with his customers at Marshall's.

In his spare time, Ron enjoyed doing cross word puzzles and going to the movies. But the highlight of his Sunday morning was having breakfast at McDonalds before coming to work.

His friends will always remember him as a man with integrity and honor. He had a such a big personality, one that he shared with everyone in his life. He will be missed and always cherished.
