Rona Shanta Holt

Rona Shanta Holt was born June 30, 1963 to Paul Holt, Jr. and Ezzie Lena Holt. She was born in Carthage, Texas and grew up in Dallas, Texas. Rona graduated from South Oak Cliff class of 1981. She united with the Singing Hills Baptist Church and served as a loyal and active member of the usher board.

After over 20 year with Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and many years of faithful service with Bealls Department Store. Rona was a loyal employee for Dallas Area Rapid Transits for the last four years as Treasury Associate.

Rona is preceded in death by her father Paul Holt, Jr. and sister Deborah Ann Holt

She will be remembered for her love for her family, children, grandchildren and friends. She went home to be with the lord on May 10, 2022

Rona leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: her mother Ezzie Lena Holt; Son Michael Harris, Sr., Grandson Michael Harris, Jr, Granddaughter Sydney Harris-Sneed; Fiance Alan Craig Harris; Sisters, Yolanda Jean Brewer(Victor Brewer), Stephanie Holt-Shaw, Annette Holt-Thomas, Brother, Aaron Holt; a host of nieces and nephews Adriane Alexander, Derick Holt, Sr, Rona Holt, Ashley Thomas, Christopher Brewer, Sr., Veronica Scott-Shaw, Venson Shaw; great nieces and nephews Derick Holt, Jr, Donovan Holt, Anthony Alexander, Tyra Alexander, Makayla Ivory, Yasmin Gipson, Elexa Gipson, Caidyn Hewitt-Holt,Christopher Brewer, Jr..Jeanniyah Brewer
