Also, survived by nephews and nieces; Heath Shockey, Michelle Shockey, Clint Shockey, Bear Baxter, Sandy Baxter, Chad Robinson, Brooke Robinson and Blake Robinson. Robert enjoyed life and left behind many, many dear friends.
A private family gathering for the celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
To honor his dogs; Sport and Bella, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity that provides care and adoption for dogs that need a permanent home. His final request is for you to feel the joy it brings to do something kind for someone, then look to heaven and give him a thumps-up.
The family wishes to thank the amazing Physicians, PAs, nurses and staff at Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center and the Hospice nurses at Vista Home Care.
