Daughter 

Dad you left us four years ago but it still feels like just yesterday. Time does "not" heal the pain I wake up to every day. Not knowing why you left us is the hardest part because I wonder if there was anything I could have said or done to have you wait until God came to get you. But on a good note, your Chloe got her Bachelors Degree a few days ago. You and mom where right when you told me that she would get it when "she" was ready. She said she had to do it not only because it was what ya'll wanted for her, but also because she knew in her heart she  also wanted it  forever. Tell mom that Jr is enjoying the Corvette he always said he was going to buy himself. She went buy the day he came over to show it to me. We were outside only 5 minutes when a yellow butterfly went by us and the car. He said there went granny letting me know that she saw  the car I told her I wanted the last time I spoke with her. She told him that she believed he would get one. Steph has finally moved on to live here life they way you and mom have always encouraged. But you have to know that she came here to spend time with you and mom as she knew one day you two would no longer be here. She stayed a while after you and mom left to make sure I was going to be ok. I'm not ok but I have to be the adult and  mother they  all need, and always had before my world fell apart as they only  have me and no one else. We miss you more than you will ever know but at the same time we are all continuing to do things to make you proud. Love you always

To the family of Robert Lopez, sorry I missed his funeral. I’m just now reading about it, I work with Robert for over 30 years. Robert was a great person to work with. God bless his wife & children. My god be with him!

My grandfather was such a simple,  tolerant man, yet so complex. but he could never resist the opportunity to have a laugh with friends and loved ones, given the chance. He saw a lot during his lifetime, and he was often happiest when left to his own devices – whether it was fishing on the lake, playing pool, tending to his lawn and garden, watching country westerns or washing his truck. Grandpa was a straightforward man who demanded little from those around him, and who expected only the best for his family. Provided he heard  from us all often – and saw us whenever possible – he was content. It’s difficult to imagine him not being around and I’m not sure how we will all cope. I will always cherish my memories of him and we are blessed to have had him in our lives for as long as we did. Love you forever. 

To the best father anyone could ever have. Daddy I will forever miss our talks and how I was always able to go to you when I felt my world crumbling.
