Richard ''Rico'' Davila, 75, of Grand Prairie,Tx., passed away August 5, 2024. Rico was married to Mary Jane on November 9,1967; they were married for 56 years. He always remembered the yellow dress she wore when they met.
Rico was retired and enjoyed being busy doing all kinds of projects around his home with his best friend Ben. He liked watching the Dallas Cowboys, fishing and being outside on his patio "socializing" with his family and friends.
Rico is preceded in death by his mother Carmen Ceballos and brother Luis Ceballos.
Rico is survived by his wife Mary Jane,children Renee Davila, Richard G. Davila Jr., Tommy Davila and his wife Donna, Ben Davila and Amy Davila. Grandchildren Michael Gonzales, Eric Rodriguez, Ricky Rodriguez, Ben Davila, Jr., Seth Sanchez, Lexie and Xzavier Davila. Great grandchildren Elijah,Urijah, Gabriel, Anaya and Penelope Rodriguez, Daniella Deleon, Natalie, Arya, and Evan Gonzales. His pets are Chiquita and Chaka.
A visitation for Richard will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
Richard will be laid to rest in Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220-3338; ST. THOMAS WEST; Lot: 114, Grave: 2.
