Passed away September 2, 2010 in Dallas, TX. She was born August 20, 1919 in Paris, TX but lived most of her life in Dallas. The daughter of Elbert and Annie Smith, and had one brother, Geron, and a step-sister, Bonnie, all of which preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Comer and Lewis Williams; two daughters, Maxine Klein and Juanita Dollgener, all of the Dallas area; 12 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, living as close as Dallas and as far away as Japan.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas for almost 45 years and sang in the Sanctuary choir for 21 of those years. She loved to travel and be with family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2010 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Dallas at 10:00 a.m., with interment at Restland Memorial Park at 12:00 p.m. She will be missed by family and friends, but now is peaceful in the arms of the Lord.
