Paula Suniga, age 89, passed away on November 21, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 17, 1930 in Asherton, Texas to Francisco Valdez and Clotilde Olivares. Paula Valdez was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Our Lady Guadalupe.
She married Ysebio Suniga in 1946 and the couple had one child. She was a devoted housewife.
Her husband, Ysebio Suniga proudly served his country in the US Army in 1941 through 1945.
In her spare time Paula enjoyed dancing while listening to music and cooking for her family.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a compassionate, friendly and caring person who would always help anyone in need.
She is survived by: daughter, Amelia Mijares; son-in-law, Victor I. Mijares; only grandson, Brandon Ysebio Mijares.
