She married Pedro Paredes in 1945 and the couple had ten children. She was a day care provider at Wesley Rankin Community Center where she worked for more than 15 years.
In her spare time Paula enjoyed going to church, was a devout member of the Guadalupana Society, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, along with doing ceramics and crafts.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a Grandmother "Buela" all the children would claim her as their very own. She was loving, kind, patient and giving person.
She is preceded in death by Pedro G. Paredes, Guadalupe P. Facundo, Felicitas P. Cervantes.
She is survived by Rosie Rojas, Hilda P. Aleman, Paul Paredes Sr., Valentine Paredes Sr., Carlos Paredes, Longino Paredes, Gerardo Paredes and Benito Paredes. Twenty-six grandchildren and numerous great-randchildren.
A visitation for Paula will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A rosary will occur Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, March 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Mary of Carmel Catholic Church, 2900 Vilbig Rd, Dallas, TX 75212. An interment will occur Friday, March 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln. Dallas, Tx. 75220
Paula will be laid to rest in Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220-3338; SECTION JM-2; Lot: 34, Grave: 2.
