Patrick Sheehan

Patrick was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to James and Katherine Sheehan on April 20, 1950. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School (St. Joseph, Missouri) 1968 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in business from Missouri Western State University (St. Joseph, Missouri) in 1972.

On April 15, 1972, Patrick married his wife, Julie Rene Acord, in St. Joseph, Missouri, and shortly after moved to Plano, Texas, to start a career in banking.

He spent over two decades in the banking industry, including being named President of First Bank & Trust of Richardson in 1983. Patrick later entered the telecommunications business in the mid 1990’s and started his own company, Carrier Connect Corporation, in the early 2000’s.

Patrick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed playing golf with friends of over 30 years, traveling with his wife of 50 years and spending time with his four beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Julie Sheehan; daughter, Emily Hewett; son, Brad Sheehan; son-in-law, Chris Hewett, daughter-in-law, Shamsia Sheehan; grandchildren, Beckham Hewett, Stella Hewett, Hank Sheehan and Isaac Sheehan; sister, Judy Rodda; brother, Jim Sheehan and sister-in-law Jeanne Sheehan.

Memorial Service will be held 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in Sparkman Memorial Chapel at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.
