My dearest Gram,
It's been almost a full year since you went home.  I miss you more today than I ever have.  I am so sad you are not here with us in person.  I miss our nightly phone calls and singing out loud to the car radio or even listening to your shuffling feet at night before bed.  I think of you evertime I eat a scoop of peanut butter and especially when I smell lilies.  Every day my heart aches for you.  However, my feelings of selfishness are not nearly as strong as the joy and happiness I feel when I imagine you and Grandaddy together once again.  I can only imagine seeing the two of you, hand in hand, dancing the night away.  I see the two of you together watching over us all with great pride and love...saying to yourselves, "WE DID THIS!"  I am so thankful and blessed to have had you teach me the way.  To teach me how to be a loving mother, a dedicated wife, and especially a loyal child of GOd.  Thank you Gram for being my Gram and loving me even after death.  I take great comfort knowing you and Grandaddy are with me ALWAYS.  I love you dearly!

May Jesus hold you in His arms as He always has and welcome you into the Home he has prepared for you.

I remember you with such fondness.  I looked up to you and you gave me the strength and comfort to live in this new land along with Vicki and her family. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.  The early days of my life in Dallas with your family are etched in my memory forever. So sorry on your loss of such a wonderful lady. You and your children reflect the loving caring ways of Pat. I just heard tonight of y'all's loss.  It was an honor knowing her and her family.  She is at rest with her Lord.

Dear Pat, we loved having you and taking care of you to our best ability.  You were truly a joy and such a sweet and thoughtful person.  I could go on and on of how you always made a new resident feel comfortable.  Also how you loved my girls and enjoyed visiting with them and asking them about their boyfriends.  You knew you were part of our family.  We will dearly miss you but we have a part of you here at Springfield that we will never forget.  Loved you so much Pat, Sandra and Mark Wahler @ Springfield

Gram, thank you for touching my heart as you have for so many others. I won't forget our easy talks at your table and observing your nightly routines with your beloved Morty. I imagine you together and he is once again licking the peanut butter off your baby thumb.  Thank you for the wonderful memories and being the love of my Andy's life. I am proud to be your second.

Gram, Thanks for always including me in your heart and prayers.  You included me in your family, and showed me what a great Catholic should be.  You were the bedrock of such a strong family, and I feel I am a better person because of you.  I'll miss and love you always.

My sweet Gram ... I'm not crying tears of sadness, I'm crying tears of happiness and thankfulness!  You have left an amazing legacy behind you and the world is a better place because of you.  You are my mentor, my grandmama, my best friend and now my angel.

My gram...i love you so much. Thank you for touching all or lives. Thank you for teaching us the true meaning of being a loving child of God. I will miss you more than anyone will ever know. I expect you to accompany Grandaddy on his occasional visits. And every time i play our piano i will be playing for you. JMJ 4ever!!

Gram - we took care of each other, laughed together, cried together, joked together, yelled together and loved together.  You were my best friend.  You taught me so much about life-how to make the most out of it and enjoy it the whole time.  There is a place in my heart that belongs to you.   I am so proud of you and the family that you raised.  I miss you and I love you.

Well Gram, You made it. Everyone will love and miss you. You have in someway touched everyone that has crossed your path. I will continue to think of you every time I come to a stop light and lock my doors as the panhandlers walk by :-). I love you and will miss you....

For my mom and the home she made for me. Time has taken me far from my childhood home. At times I hear my mother calling for me to come in at dark, I smell the meal cooking in the kitchen, I feel her touch upon my shoulder, but when I turn, she is gone. Then I realize that I am not alone, as I carry my mother and home with me. I keep them deep within my soul where only I can see and at times they rise up and remind me of how blessed I was to have had a mother and a home that still warm me with their memory

There will never be another Gram - good-hearted through and through. I will never forget our talks over coffee and the fun we always had. I enjoyed the holidays more when they were spent with the Clark/Oleson/Johnston/Moo family - grandkids and all. I have been going through the pictures on facebook and smiling at how the kids have all grown and now have their own families. Miss all of you so much - the world isn't as bright without Pat.

Mom, I will miss our visits.  I don't know what I will do w/ my time...I don't know what I will do w/o you...I DO know that you had such a strong belief in God.  I'm sure you & Daddy are either dancing or fishing!
