Olivia Lozano-Rodriguez was born in Lampazos, Mexico on January 16, 1938, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lozano and was one of 7 children. Olivia ventured to the U.S. in 1950 becoming the first U.S. citizen in her family. Olivia bought a piece of this great U.S. soil and made a home for her and her family, comfortably residing in the Cadillac Heights community in Dallas, TX.
Olivia was blessed with a large family. She is preceded in death by Gilbert Rodríguez Jr. and Yolanda Rodriguez. Olivia is survived by son, Sergio Esquivel and daughters Guadalupe Garcia, Antonia Fajardo and Rosalinda Rodriguez.
Olivia was a master of none but a jack of all trades and a self-made entrepreneur. Olivia worked various jobs until she found her passion and specialized as a very talented florist for most of her career.
She was a consistent role model by working hard, never cutting corners and always doing the right thing. Olivia was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and will be cherished, forever.
