Michelle Milam Davis, 50, died of cancer October 24, 2014 in Plano, TX. She grew up in Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC, graduating from South Mecklenburg High School, Charlotte, NC, 1982, Georgia Institute of Technology, 1987, and Southern Methodist University MBA, 1991, Dallas, TX. Michelle specialized in Organizational Change Mgt. at PepsiCo, Accenture, Raytheon, Electronic Data Systems, Children's Medical Center of Dallas, and The North Highland Co. She spent the last two years of her 25-year career as an independent consultant affiliated with People Results in Dallas, TX. The greatest joy of her life was her marriage to Joel Lamar Davis in 2008 and their 2 children, Jackson Philip, age 4, and Brooke Elizabeth, age 18 months. Michelle loved hiking in Colorado and traveling to San Destin with a treasured friend. She enjoyed her Bichons, music, reading, design, and close friends and family. She was known for her kindness, grace, wit, and insightfulness. Michelle is survived by husband Joel and her two children, parents Larry and Peggy Ann Milam, of Dacula, GA, brother and sister-in-law Steve and Krista Milam, and their children Jordan and Jonathan. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Charles and Virginia Whitmer, of Atlanta, GA and Quentin and Marie Milam of Fairburn, GA. Her memorial service will be at 4:00PM on Nov. 3, 2014 at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 6400 Stonebrook Parkway, Frisco, Texas in the chapel, reception to follow.
