Michele Anne Cox

Michele Anne Cox was born in Dallas, Texas on February 17, 1960, and passed away on January 29, 2017, after a battle with cancer. Michele graduated from Ursuline Academy and attended Texas Tech University. She was a Legal Assistant and Receptionist, Cox, Nawaz and Levine, and Realtor, Dallas City Center Realtors. Community involvement included Chairing/participating The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League Fall Home Tour for many years, chairing the ALS Walk in honor of her father, and past member of the Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum. She is survived by mother, Mary Lee Cox, sister, Therese Rourk, and husband, Chris, brother, William D. Cox III, brother, Joseph M. Cox and wife, Emily, nieces and nephews, Courtney, Bill IV, Joseph, Lauren, Matthew, David, Stephen, Caroline and Audrey. And many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by father, William D. Cox, Jr., grand-parents Ann and W. D. Cox, Sr. and grandparents Vencie and Joseph M. Iley. Services include a Rosary on Thursday, February 2, Calvary Hill 4:00 pm Viewing; 5:00 pm Rosary Funeral Mass on Friday, February 3, Christ the King Church, 10:00 a.m. Msgr. Donald Zimmerman, Celebrant. Doations may be made to Stand Up to Cancer, American Cancer Society , William D. Cox, Jr. Scholarship, Dallas Arboretum Botanical Garden or charity of your choice .
