Maxine Rose Musgrave was born on April 10, 1923 in Bigelow, Missouri, but grew up in Southeastern Colorado. She married Albert, her high school sweetheart and put him through college to become a world renowned geophysicist with Mobil Oil. Maxine nurtured her four greatly anticipated children, Real, Rose, Ruth & Raye, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family & many, many friends. She lived her life cheerfully and with a full heart.
Maxine had a steady midwestern kind of faith. She believed in the goodness of GOD, her church and her neighbors. And she did not care how far those neighbors were. Her neighbors were of all faiths and all countries.
Maxine is survived by her sister Mervine, her son Real (& wife, Muff), her daughters Rose (& husband, Ben) and Ruth, Son-in-law Hans, her grandchildren Michael, Carolyn (& husband, Josh), Melanie & Travis and her great-grandchildren Elijah & Shiloh. And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & other relatives near and far who adored her greatly. Family was very important to her.
Visitation at Sparkman Hillcrest-Saturday, January 7th from 4-6 pm.
