Mary immigrated to the United States in the late 1960s. She graduated from Ohio Christian College in 1970. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Dallas and got a job at the Spaghetti Inn, where she met the owner, Mike, who would later become her husband. They were married on September 26, 197, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Abbott, Texas. Mary was a teacher and CCD Director at St. Thomas Aquinas for over 20 years. She loved her students and enjoyed gardening, shopping and cooking for her many friends and family. She was famous for her fluffy cheesecake, Thanksgiving stuffing and Troy Aikman chicken, just to name a few.
Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband and survived by her son Michael, his wife Crystal and their daughter Catherine; her son Colin, his wife Danielle and their children Leonardo, Camila and Juliette; three brothers and two sisters; and numerous other relatives.
The Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2022, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 6306 Kenwood Ave., Dallas, TX, 75214. The Funeral Mass will also be at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, at 12 PM Friday, July 1, 2022, co-celebrated by Father John Libone and Monsignor Publius Xuereb. Entombment will follow at Calvary Hill Mausoleum, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX ,75220.
