Maria De Los Angeles Aguirre

Maria De Los Angeles Aguirre, 78, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 in Garland, Texas. Maria was born August 2, 1944 in Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Eugenia Villareal Perez and Santo Cruz Garza.

Maria (Gela) was raised in Guadalupe Nuevo Leon and attended Escuela de Comercio in 1959. She married Guadalupe Gilberto Aguirre Gonzalez in 1966 and the couple had four children. Maria was a housewife and in her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, and taking care of her family.

Her family and friends will always remember her as loving, caring, and someone that loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons and family. She also provided great advice to those in need.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, Guadalupe Gilberto Aguirre Gonzalez; son, Guadalupe Gilberto Aguirre Cruz; mother, Eugenia Villareal Perez; father, Santos Cruz Garza; sisters, Maria De La Luz Cruz, and Francisca Cruz. She is survived by her sons, Carlos Alejandro Aguirre Cruz, Jorge Enrique Aguirre Cruz, Jair Omar Aguirre Cruz; grandchildren, George Anthony Aguirre, Robert Alexander Aguirre, Gabriel Alejandro Aguirre, Diana Isabella Aguirre, Sophia Nicole Aguirre; great-grandchild, Jacob Aguirre; sisters, Maria Del Socorro Cruz, Maria Guadalupe Cruz; brothers, Pedro Rafael Cruz, and Francisco Cruz.

A visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A rosary will occur Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, September 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, 4014 Simpson St., Dallas, TX 75246. An interment will occur Monday, September 12, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
