Margaret Muñoz Vasquez

Margaret Muñoz Vasquez ascended into heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 4, 2015, after a wonderful life. She was born August 8, 1921 in Dallas, TX to Felix and Alejandra Muñoz. Margaret and husband Jesse R Vasquez Sr. lived in Dallas, TX where she was a loving, caring and devoted mother to her four children. Margaret enjoyed dancing, traveling with her friends and family, and was an active member in her local community center. She also had a love for animals. She was a devout Catholic and loved her church where she attended regularly. Margaret retired from Sanger Harris Department Store, now Macy’s. Her husband Jesse R Vasquez Sr. preceded Margaret in death in 1984. Also preceding her were her brothers, Felix, Joe, German, Rudy, Charles Muñoz and sister Annie Muñoz. She is survived by her son Jesse Jr. (wife Gloria Vasquez) of Tyler TX, daughter Rosemary Rios of Carrollton, TX, son Felix Vasquez of Dallas, TX and son David (wife Mary Vasquez) of Frisco, TX, daughter- in- law Geneva Vasquez-Hoffman of Dallas, TX and daughter-in-law Irene Vasquez- Palomo of Carrollton, TX. Margaret was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She will be missed by all of us and we will reunite in heaven as we are called by our Lord and Savior. All services will be at Calvary Hill Cemetery located at 3235 Lombardy Lane Dallas, TX 75230 214-357-5754. Visitation will be from 4-8PM, with Rosary at 6:00 PM on Tuesday 12-8-2015. Service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday 12-9-2015. Interment will take place at Calvary Hill Cemetery with a reception to follow at the reception room of Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
