Margaret Cano

Margaret was born in Dallas on December 10 1939, to Ysidro Damian Sanchez and Micaela Ruelas Sanchez. Margaret was married to Fidencio Hernandez Cano, Sr. on September 22,1956; they were married 49 years.

Margaret worked as a Quality Control for Thrift Town for 5 years. She enjoyed going to the casino and loved dancing. Margaret was also actively involved in Red Hatters and Silver Seniors.

Margaret is preceded in death by husband, Fidencio Hernandez Cano, Sr.; father, Ysidro Damian Sanchez; mother, Micaela Ruelas Sanchez; brothers, Jonny Sanchez and Ysidro Sanchez Jr.

Margaret is survived by her children, Patricia and Austun Monsivais, Christine Ibarra, Fidencio Cano Jr. and Stephanie Casarez; 15 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren; sisters, Lupe and Mickey Askey, Linda and Arturo Jacinto, Josephine and Maurilio Flores; brothers, Manuel and Lisa Sanchez and David and Cindy Sanchez and left behind several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

A visitation for Margaret will be held December 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220. A mass of Christian Burial will be December 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1845 W. Davis St., Dallas, Texas 75165. A committal will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
