Mardelle (Marty) Gage was called to heaven on June 19, 2015 at 3:10am at Doctors Hospital in Dallas,TX with her son by her side.
Mardelle was born July 1, 1926 in Garner,AR to parents Otto Perry and Nellie Turnbow. She met her husband, the late William Gage Sr. and they moved to Dallas, TX in the mid 50’s.
She and William had a son, William Gage Jr. on May 30, 1962. After long hard hours in the factory she retired at Victor Costa as a clothing inspector in 1991 and devoted most of time with helping raise her grandchildren.
Her interests were listening to country music and spending time with family. She also loved to watch Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Dancing With the Stars. You would also find her eating at her favorite cafeteria, Highland Park Cafeteria.
Mardelle is is survived by her sisters: Reba Crenshaw, Georgia Helfert, and Sue McDaniel; brother: Jurdon Perry; son: William Gage Jr.; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
