Linda Jeanette Dalton Freeman, age 78, of Dallas, Texas, passed from this life into eternal life on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Linda was born in Dallas, TX on December 8, 1943 to Lee Roy Dalton and Clara Marie Crossley Dalton. She is survived by her son, David S. Freeman of Dallas, TX, daughter Mollynda Freeman Sykora and husband, Chris Sykora of Terrell, TX, grandsons Braeden C. Sykora and Grayson N. Sykora, nieces Mollyn Ivy Shew and Andrea L. Graham, many great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul D. Freeman, sister Myra N. Dalton Ivy, brother, Roy E. Dalton, and nephews James L. Ivy and Timothy S. Dalton.
Linda was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. She was full of life, energy and never met a stranger. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Terrell, TX with her family. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas in 1962.
A visitation for Linda will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A funeral service will occur Monday, April 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be sent to the First Presbyterian Church in Terrell located at 834 Griffith Ave. Terrell, Texas 75160, or a tribute donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) in her honor.
