She grew up in DeSoto, Tx, and graduated from Duncanville High School in 1989. Letha was baptized in The Church of Christ in Italy Tx at the age of 21.
In November 1991, Letha began her 30-year career as a courier for FedEx Express. Working there wasn’t just a job for her; it was her life’s passion. She was committed to serving her customers, always going above and beyond for her FedEx family. She was currently on disability due to an automobile accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down on October 4th, 2019.
Family was what she cherished most in life. From the time her sons Ashton and Nick were born, Letha made sure that she did everything in her power to enrich their lives. They were involved in multiple sports from the time they were 4 years old. She was a single mother working long hours and never failed to get them to practice and games every week, cheering them on.
Letha enjoyed spending time with family and close friends, playing cards, dominoes, and board games, going to and watching movies at home, sharing meals with those she loved, attending Dallas Mavericks games, traveling, and listening to music. She most recently enjoyed word searches and puzzles as a pass time.
Letha was a loving, selfless person, and everyone who knew her well loved her.
She was preceded in death by: Father, Leat Harrison Sr.; Paternal grandparents, David B. Sr. and Bernice Z. Henderson; Maternal grandparents, Donnie E. and Virginia L. Weaver.
