Lemuel Rogers Law

Mr. Law was born August 22, 1927 in Paris, TX. He graduated from Paris High School in 1944. He married Jean Brooks on January 21, 1966.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Lemuel Jacob and Mamie Rogers Law and Son, Thomas Brady Law.

Mr. Law is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jean Law, cousin Michael Hall and Nephew Bob Ferrier.

Mr. Law graduated from Paris Junior College in 1946 and Southern Methodist University with a BBA in 1954.

He entered the U.S. Army in 1950 and served 15 months in Germany with the 40th Tank Battalion, 4th Army.

Following graduation from SMU he was employed by Mercantile National Bank.

He retired as Senior Vice President at Bank One. He worked for the same bank under four names.

Mr. Law was a member of Lake Highlands United Methodist Church and Tannell Masonic Lodge # 52. He was a Master Mason for over 60 years, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Shriner, Hella Temple, PER Dallas Elks Lodge #71, Life Member of VFW

Post 6796, DAV and 4th Infantry. He served on the Dallas County Civil Services Board for 20 Years.

Mr. Law loved traveling with his wife Jean, playing golf, and dancing. He belonged

to several Dance clubs. He enjoyed watching movies, golf and Fox 4 on TV.
