Larry Ray Cook, 77, of Arlington departed this life peacefully on November 10, 2017 at 5:30 a.m. at Arlington Memorial Hospital of Cancer. He was born on July 21, 1940 to the late Robert Lee and Mary Kathleen Dillon Cook. He was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart, and was always putting a smile on everyone’s face. He is survived by his wife Patty Cook, son Kelly Cook and wife Alex, daughter Amber McCormick, grandchildren Jake Killion, Kaycee Cook, Skylar McCormick, Samantha Killion, Mackynzie Cook, Ezio LaLiberty and Marcus Murphy, siblings Tex Martin, Sue Arrington, brother in laws Bo Pyle and wife Linda and Ronald Pyle and many loving nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two sons Mark Killion and Scott Killion and siblings Mary Tompkins and Bobby Cook. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
