Kristi Lynn Martin

Kristi L. Martin, age 50, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. Kristi did not go down without a fight, she had more things to do and more stories to tell, but she has now started on "The Greatest Journey." She was born January 22, 1972 in Dallas, Texas to Robert A. Martin, Jr. and Kathy Martin. Kristi was raised in the Dallas/Mesquite area and had two children, Kaylin and Drew.

In her spare time Kristi enjoyed spending time with Gene, her family and grandchildren; she enjoyed cooking, spending time with her friends, trips to Starbucks for a drink and cake pops and loving on her dogs. Kristi believed in her Savior Jesus Christ and trusted in him at a young age and always kept him close to her heart. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.

Kristi is preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Martin, Jr.; grandparents, Robert A. Martin and Edwina Martin and James Phelps and Shirley Phelps. Left to cherish her memory is boyfriend, Gene Walker; daughter, Kaylin and Kenny Lee and grand children Dawson and Piper; son, Drew Blount and fiancé Dayla; grandchildren, Brookelynn, Liam and Cameron; mother, Kathy Martin and step-father, Howard Tate; brother, Bobby Martin and wife, Daphne; nephews, Bobby IV and Brooks; Uncle, John and Tommy; Aunt, Mary Beth and Jeannine and many cousins and friends.

A Private Service will be held for family at a later date.
