Born on June 21, 1958, in Borger, Texas, to Glynn and Sue (Leep) Carpenter, Kim was raised in Oklahoma and graduated from Cushing High School. Her warmth, quiet strength, and deep care for others were evident from a young age and only deepened over the years.
In 1984, Kim married the love of her life, Michael Morris, and together they built a home filled with laughter, kindness, and unwavering love. They raised two children, Sarah and Clay, who were the pride of Kim’s life. As a mother, Kim was a constant source of support, wisdom, and unconditional love. As a grandmother, she found endless joy in playing with her three beloved granddaughters—Margot, Sloane, and Paige—who adored her deeply.
Kim had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. She loved cooking meals that brought her family together, getting lost in a good book, and traveling with Michael and her loved ones. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, and her generosity and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Kim is survived by her devoted husband of over 40 years, Michael Morris; her daughter, Sarah Morris Striano and son-in-law Ryan; her son, Clay Sheridan Morris and daughter-in-law Stefanie; and her treasured granddaughters, Margot Sheridan Morris, Sloane Elizabeth Striano, and Paige Frances Morris. She also leaves behind cherished extended family members and many dear friends who will forever remember her loving spirit.
Kim’s legacy is one of kindness, grace, and enduring love. She will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
