On January 9, 2011, at the age of 46, Kim went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. After her brave battle with sarcoma, Kim died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Kim is survived by her loving husband Dr. David Mercier and their two boys, Jake (11) and Cooper (9). Kim is also survived by her mother Linda Williamson and her two sisters, Sherry and her husband Richard Coran, and Diana and her husband Mark LaFleur. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Kim was preceded in death by her father Stephen Edward Williamson. Kim graduated from Haltom High School in 1983. She then attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Kim graduated from the SMU School of Law and was a Partner at the McCurley Firm where she practiced for over a decade. Finally, Kim was an Associate Family Law Judge until she retired from practice to be a full-time wife and mother. Kim’s Memorial Service will be at Park Cities Baptist Church on Thursday, January13, beginning at 4:00 P.M. in the Great Hall. Flowers may be sent directly to Park Cities Baptist Church, or, in lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation be made to the Quadw Foundation (www.quadw.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.quadw.com) in Kim Mercier’s memory. The Quadw Foundation (www.quadw.com) supports research to fight sarcoma. Kim will always be remembered as a beautiful inspiration to the lives of everyone she touched during her too-short life. Kim was a loving, giving and dedicated mother, wife, daughter, and friend. Kim’s constant faith in her Savior carried her from this temporary home on Earth to her forever Home.
