Katherine Fay McCracken Henley was born January 16, 1929 in Cleveland, AR to Lillie Belle and Claude Elonzo McCracken. She passed from this life Sept. 12, 2010 at her home in Garland, TX. She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Marie Watson and brother, Gerald Lee (Jerry) McCracken. Katherine is survived by her loving husband of almost 62 years, Royce Elmer Henley; daughter, Deborah Kay Cope and husband BJ of Garland; grandsons, William Austin Cope of Garland and Matthew Elliott Cope of College Station; sister, Savannah Christine Storti and husband Bob of Houston; uncle, Richard Welch; aunt, Nellie Crum; sister-in-law, Karen McCracken; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, Sept. 14 at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home in Dallas. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at Northlake Baptist Church, 1501 N. Country Club Rd. in Garland, where she was a longtime member.
