Mrs. Johnnye Ann Hogan

Johnnye Ann Levelsmier-Hogan was born on March 01, 1936 in Dallas, Texas. Johnnye was married to her soulmate Jerry Hogan on September 11, 1964. She worked for Southland Corporation as an executive secretary. Johnnye and Jerry moved shortly after marrying to San Diego, California where she worked for and retired from HM Electronics. After retirement her and Jerry moved back to Texas in 1996 to spend time with family and friends. Johnnye belonged to Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California and then to Prestonwood Baptist in Plano, Texas.

Johnnye was deepley loved by many but most of all her family. She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Hanes and Pat Mekker and her brother, Lewis Levelsmier. She will always be remembered as an amazing Christ loving woman who dressed in bright colors to match her outgoing personality. As we rejoice in her quick journey home to heaven from aggressive leukemia on June 14, 2022; we thank the Lord for our time with our sister, aunt and friend.

Funeral will be held at Laurel Land on June 21, 2022. Visiting hour will start at 10:00am, graveside service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers Johnnye requested that donations be made to the Leukemia Foundation, St. Jude or your preferred charity.
