John R Medina

John Raymond Medina began his new life in heaven on 4/7/15. He was 78 years young and was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. He served in the Navy from 1954-1958. While in the navy he met and married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Copeland, who preceded him in death after 57 years of marriage. Also, whom preceded him in death were his parents, Mary and Francis (Frank) and his sister, Elaine Medina Davis. He is survived by his siblings; Francis (Sonny) Medina, Robert Medina, Ernest Medina, Marilyn Medina Miguel, Mary Medina Barriero, Dennis Medina, Ralph Medina, and by several generations of nieces and nephews. He is survived by his 5 daughters: Deborah Medina Pomroy, Brenda Medina Hykel, Vesta Medina, Teri Medina McGinn, Rebecca Medina Hammond, and by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. After leaving the Navy, he moved his family to Texas where he raised his girls in Plano. He retired from Texas Instruments after 32 years. He was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus from St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church where his funeral mass will be held, located at 1105 West 15th St. Plano, Tx 75075, following that his interment will be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery located at 3235 Lombardy Lane Dallas, Tx 75220.
