On June 17th John Baer, a beautiful, charismatic, and loving man, died in the comfort of his home under his own terms. He was surrounded by all of the art, hobbies, collectibles and memories that only scratch the surface of what a one-a-kind enigmatic person that John was. His charm, chuckle, and charismatic presence will forever be missed.
John lived and loved an extraordinary life full travel, adventure, laugher and love. He was a man of extraordinary charm, unmatched charisma, and an outlandish spirit that captured the attention and hearts of all those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. His greatest joys in life were his dogs or his “boys” and his friends. He loved whisking a friend off for an adventure in Vegas, swim with dolphins or to don a pair of ears at Disney World.
John defied societal norms from an early age. He possessed an innate ability to challenge conventions and embrace his unique perspective on life. With a magnetic personality and an infectious zest for living, he effortlessly drew people into his captivating world of adventure and creativity.
John took off on countless escapades that mirrored his extraordinary personality. He fearlessly explored uncharted thoughts and actions with almost limitless zeal. He never shied away from expressing himself. His outlandish nature gave him the uncanny ability to connect with people in a unique way. His charisma knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless individuals.
A quote by Anne Todd says, “the brightest stars burn the fastest, so we must love them while we can.” We should all remember the lessons, he taught us. He showed us the power of individuality, the strength in embracing our quirks, and the importance of living life authentically. In a world that often suppresses uniqueness, he reminded us that it is our differences that make us truly extraordinary.
To the many that knew and loved John, also know that he was an eternal “big kid.” He lived his life purely for the fun and happiness of his friends and family.
Though our hearts ache with the loss of such a vibrant soul, we find solace in knowing that John’s spirit will forever endure within us. His memory will continue to ignite our imaginations, encourage us to challenge conventions, and embolden us to live our lives on our own terms.
John will forever be remembered for his unyielding charisma, audacity, and unconventional brilliance. May his spirit soar, forever unbounded by the constraints of this mortal realm.
Rest peacefully John, you will forever be cherished and celebrated.
He is preceded in death by his two beloved chihuahuas who were like son’s, Gizmo and Chewy, his father John B. Baer, his grandfather Clifford Brewer, and his best friend and Grandmother Marcia Baer, and Grandfather Alan Baer.
He is survived by his Mother Judith Baer-Peters, his younger siblings Stephanie Baer and Derrik Peters, and his grandmother Laura Brewer.

A memorial will be held in John’s honor on Saturday July 8th, 2023 at Flixx located at 1019 S 10th St, Omaha, Ne 68108 from 3:30pm till 6:30pm. All donations in John’s name will be contributed to his favorite charity.
