He was a butcher at Dallas City Packing where he retired from after 50 years.
In his spare time Jesse enjoyed watching the Cowboys and Texas Rangers as well as relaxing on the front porch.
His family and friends will remember him as a humble and loving man that put family before everything.
He is preceded in death by: father, Jose Silva; mother, Guadalupe A. Silva; son, Jamie Silva; sisters, Antonia S. Trevino and Maria Lopez.
Survived by: wife, Josephine Guzman; children, Jerry Silva, Hope Guzman, Mary Torres, Angie Guzman, Benny Guzman and George Guzman; brothers, Luis Silva and Steven Silva; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
