Jesse Roland Jackson, age 68, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on December 6, 2017. He was born on March 5, 1949, in Austin, Texas to Oscar and Lila Jackson. Jesse move to Dallas, Texas where he married the love of his life, Bessie Mae Lee on December 23, 1973. To that union 3 daughters (Sonya Jackson, Nikki Jackson Williams and Dametria Jackson) and 6 grandchildren (Jaylon (deceased), Madison 11, Cristian 10, Aiden and Austin 3, Juwaan 2) were born.
Jesse was part of the Masonic Organization, he worked for the Dallas Fire Department and DART for many years. He retired from the DART in 1994. Jesse was a hard-working and loving man who could make you laugh for hours and loved the outdoors.
Jesse was welcomed with open arms into his eternal home by his parents, Oscar & Lila, his sisters Phyllis Williams & Janice Thomas and his grandson, Jaylon Jackson-Oliver.
Jesse will be forever cherished in memory by his wife, children, grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
