On February 8th, 2023, John David Wilson, cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away at the age of 78 in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by loving family. JD is survived by his wife, Deborah, of 50 years; their children Keely, Anastacia and Peri Catherine; grandchildren Cole, Ariana, Evelyn, John, Noah, Michael, Sonny, Marshall and Royce.
JD was known as a generous and doting family man with an unforgettable presence. He loved music and adventure and spending time with his precious family and friends. If asked, he would say his greatest achievement was marrying the love of his life, Deborah, and building a family together.
He will be remembered for his big love, endearing smile, sense of humor, creative spirit, wisdom, gentle embrace... and so much more. Heaven gained an amazing soul who will be forever cherished in our hearts.
A memorial service for JD will be held Friday, February 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX, 75225.
