James Virgle Warren, born September 24, 1939 in Mosheim, TX and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 6, 2016. Born to J.W. and Velda Warren. James was employed in many professions over his life, but he spent the majority of his career with Dallas Area Rapid Transit as a supervisor until he retired in 1997. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly; teaching them how to be responsible and kind. Leaving them with wisdom and giving them lessons in unconditional love by leading with the example he set for them. He loved to travel, fish, and most of all spend time with family. He and Mary married in 1973 in Durant, OK they were married 45 years. They spent every day of their 20 years of retirement together. He is survived by his wife Mary Warren, Momma Velda Warren, daughters and sons-in-law Teresa and Charles Lindsey, Sandy and Clint Edwards, Debbie and Gary Parker, Bette and Manuel Flores, Sheryl and Nathan Gibson, and Michelle and David Diamondson. Sisters Edith Clendennen, Pauline Bently, and Becky Blackwell, 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, many friends and church family. He leaves behind a legacy of sharing his love of the Lord and his witness of Gods love and light with all he met. He will be greatly missed.
