James Gary Fisher, 65, of Plano Texas died of cancer on September 13, 2015. Gary was born to Howard Fisher and the late Beverly Fisher on June 22, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from W.T. White High School in 1968 and received a BA with a double major in English and Psychology from the University of Colorado in 1976. Gary is survived by his father Howard Fisher, daughter Lea Fisher-Miller, sister Lisa Carroll, brother Tim Fisher and many close friends. Gary was a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous and had 24 years of sobriety achieved one day at a time. The service will be held on Friday, September 18 at 10:00 am at Sparkman Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel.
