Jacquelyn Kae Hall, 64, passed away peacefully January 11, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was a loving and faithful wife of 25 years to Thomas Michael Herndon, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Melani; son in law Doug; granddaughters, Emily and Bethany; and brother, Steve. She was a Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend. Jacki was born on December 16, 1951 to Jim and Grace Hall in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was the youngest of three children, having two older brothers, Steve and Rick. Jacki grew up in Oak Cliff and graduated from Sunset High School in 1969. Before retiring to care for her ailing father, she held jobs as a PBX operator, pediatric administrative assistant, inventory analyst, and an administrative assistant for The State of Texas. Jacki loved people. She loved to laugh and have fun. She would help anyone with anything and would never turn anyone away. She loved animals and was a truly compassionate person. She found joy in being surrounded by family and friends and although she was a simple person, she loved with everything she had. Jacki will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Her family asks that in her remembrance that you take a moment to hug someone dear to you and let them know how special they are. Time waits for no one.
