Helga Maria Starkweather

Helga was born March 5, 1940, in Karlsruhe, Germany. She moved to the United States in 1963. She enjoyed gardening and baking for her family and friends. Helga worked in the North Garland High School cafeteria for 20 years and later at Albertsons Grocery in the floral department. Her proudest moments were her 3 sons and grandchildren along with her home in Garland, Texas.

She is survived by her brother Alphons Brackle of Karlsruhe, Germany; her children Mike and wife Lolly, Robert, Raymond and husband Greg Hausdorf, her two wonderful grandchildren, Nathan and wife Shelby, Trevor, and her great-granddaughter Ember.

Helga will be honored in a private memorial service.
