Harold Jay Hamilton, 95, went to his eternal home February 10, 2018, just one month shy of his 96th birthday. Born in Richland Center, WI to Anna and Eugene Hamilton, he married Marjorie Bethke and became the proud father of Roger, Richard, and Randy. The young family made their home in the Casa Linda area of Dallas where Harold owned Hamilton Catering. Harold loved his Lord, Jesus Christ and enjoyed sharing the Good News. He was president of the local chapter of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship and a founding member of Bethel Church in Mesquite. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, gardening, and tending his backyard pool and could fix anything. He was a devoted husband to Marjorie for 62 years. Following her death, he married Lois Palmer and moved to Rowlett. He still enjoyed dancing, travel and televised sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR’s Dale Earnhardt Jr. He had a green thumb with houseplants and was treasured by all who knew him. Harold will be lovingly remembered by Lois, his wife of 9 years, grandchildren, Todd Hamilton, Sheila Dyson, Carrie Hamilton, Heather Hamilton and Dominique Hamilton, his 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
