Glenda Lee Jenson

Glenda Lee Mitchell Jenson of Plano, TX and previously of San Antonio, TX, passed away March 20, 2013 at the age of 78. She was born August 22, 1934 in Seymour, TX to Horace Lee and Oleva Mae Shaw Mitchell. Glenda graduated from Patti Welder High School in Victoria, TX, earned a BA degree from The University of Texas at Austin and an MA degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Joe Jenson; her parents; and her grandson Lionel J. ‘Trey’ Kertz, III. She is survived by daughters Jerrie Kertz (Lionel, Jr.) of Allen, TX and Brenda Weyrens (William) of Plano, TX; grandsons Matthew, Jacob and Samuel Weyrens and Kyle Kertz; stepmother Alice Boerger Mitchell of Milbank, SD; brother Donald Mitchell; stepsiblings Phyllis Boerger, Sherry DeBoer (Paul), Cliff Boerger (Esther), Gary Boerger (Linda), Lynn Boerger (Judie), and Mark Boerger (Gloria); sisters-in-law Ruby Jenson, Faye Kinsel (Richard), and Ruth Minix; brothers-in-law Bob Jenson and Rob Jenson (Jimaileen); plus many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 4 to 5 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home in Dallas, TX with a family Memorial Service immediately following. Glenda will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
