George Carver Hawkins was born in Dallas, Texas to Ella Mae Brewster and Vorice Hawkins on October 13, 1946.
He went to school at Immaculate Heart Catholic School and graduated from F.D. Roosevelt High School in 1964. George and Mercedes P. Hawkins were married for 39 years in Dallas county. He worked as a Storekeeper for Mercury Marina for 29 years. He loved fishing on a regular basis.
George is preceded in death by his parents Ella Mae Brewster and Vorice Hawkins, his brother Joe Bradley and his sister Carolyn Brewster.
George Hawkins is survived by his wife Mercedes P Hawkins, seven children, one brother, two sisters, twenty-three grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and two great- grandchildren.
Memorial services will be arranged and held at a later date.
