Gary was such a great guy. He will be deeply missed. It was always fun to visit and swap stories about the good ole days. His fun loving smile and gentle personality will never be forgotten. 



  My memory of Gary always goes back to childhood and the good times we all shared during those Christmases. There were other times as well, but Christmas was the best because all of us got together then. All the cousins, aunts, uncles, and even grandparents (Memaw and Pepaw). We were family and we loved each other. We still do.
  Gary had a hard life in many ways, harder than most of us I think, but he faced up to it with a smile and a positive attitude. I'm going to miss him, even though we haven't been close for a long time. He may be gone from all of us right now, but I know it's only for a short while. We'll see him again.

I have known Gary for over 55 years, dating back to our Cub Scout days when his Dad was our Pack Leader. I remember the first time I heard Gary play the piano and I was just amazed at his talent. He never, ever had a bad word for anyone and always had a smile. Truly a man of impeccable values and dedication to family and friends. He will be greatly missed and it was honor to be able to call him my friend. RIP, old friend.

Gary was such a wonderful Uncle his uplifting personality and humor will never be forgotten. I am thankful to have this amazing family and I know Gary is thankful we all have each other to celebrate his life. 

What wonderful pictures you've shared!  Gary has that sweet, ever-present smile in all of them and you can see the deep love he and Pam shared throughout their life together.  I wish I could be there with all of you, but please know you are all  in my heart.  Pam, I imagine Gary and Tim, our beloved music lovers, listening to their favorite songs together--free of pain and filled with joy.  They will be with us forever, and we will see them again someday.
