Frank was born Sep 16, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His parents were Jimmie Otis and Fannie Mae Lewis. Frank was one of seven children with four brothers and two sisters.
Upon graduating from Tuscaloosa High School in 1952, Frank enlisted with the Navy serving in the Korean War as a Communications Technician. After discharge, Frank returned to Tuscaloosa attending the University of Alabama where he fell in love with Michiko and married in 1957. Frank graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1958 and had a varied career in retail, but his creativity and entrepreneurialism ultimately guided him to become the sole proprietor of A-1 Printing.
In his retirement, Frank was active with the homeowner’s association and enjoyed working in the yard/garden. He was a humble man of strong moral character and always willing to help others. Frank is survived by his wife, Michiko; children, Franklin Jr and Christopher; grandchildren, Dana, Lauren, Katherine, and Kobe. He is preceded in death by beloved granddaughter, Delisa.
