Felipe was raised in the Love Field area and graduated from Skyline High School in 1978. He was a mechanic at Sierra Couriers where he worked for more than eight years.
In his spare time, Felipe enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys on television or attending their games in person. He also enjoyed watching the Texas Longhorns and doing mechanical work.
His family and friends will always remember him as loving, kind-hearted, and someone that would give you the shirt off of his back.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio S. Ruiz and Maria G. Ruiz; along with his sister, Yolanda E. "Coco" Ruiz.
He is survived by his brother, Eugenio; sisters, Rosa Garcia, Gabriela Garcia, along with his beloved nephews.
A visitation for Felipe will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 27, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory.
