Fayrene Bogar Cooper went home to be with the Lord on Thursday August 18, 2022 she was one of 13 children born to Edward and Ethel Bogar. Fayrene was born in Ladonia, Texas on June 1, 1940. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Ladonia, Texas. Fayrene attended Ladonia public school and Clark High School.
Fayrene met and married Raymond Cooper of Sherman, Texas, to this union 3 children were born. The family relocated to Dallas and united with Zion Chapel Baptist church and later transferred to New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. George Pryor. Fayrene was a dedicated employee with Texas Instruments for over 42 years. She loved her children and family. She was active in the community participated in several organization and ladies club. Fayrene was instrumental in starting and maintaining the Bogar Family reunions, which family members have actively maintained Bogar legacy through reunions. She loved hosting yearly Texas Bogar family dinners at her home. After she retired, she loved to travel and visited different countries.
Fayrene leaves to cherish her memories are daughters: Brenda Cooper- Haywood, Charlotte Cooper-Fridia. and 1 sister JoNell Bogar-Shaw. Grandchildren Charlotte Chantill Haywood, Derrick Fridia(Tosika) and Dacha Fridia. 10 great grandchildren, 6 great- great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her husband Raymond Cooper, son Melvin Ray Cooper. Sisters: Kathryn Jones, Mattie Stone, Louise Carter, Annie Mae Roseman, Hazel Sheppard, Merlie Franklin. Step- sisters Mammie Helen Brown, Verneice Barnett, and Dorothy Perry. Brothers: Clifford Bogar, Thurman Bogar, Robert Wayne Bogar, Tardis Bogar and Eddie Lee Bogar; 2 grandchild Darius Cooper and Latrice Haywood.
Fayrene will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
