Esperanza “Hope” Valdez 86 passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011. Mrs. Valdez was born January 18, 1925 in Waco, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Rafael Valdez and is survived by children, Olivia V. Rivera & husband Louis, Maria Christina Valdez and Patricia Mayse & husband Carter & several grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. A rosary to be recited at 10:00 am Thursday August 25, in the North Mausoleum Chapel at Calvary Hill Cemetery with a Funeral Mass to follow immediately after the rosary. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
