Esperanza Martinez Rodriguez passed away in Dallas on October 21, 2013. She was born December 2, 1924 in Mexico to Gumaro and Angela Martinez. Esperanza is survived by her husband of 72 years, David F Rodriguez; son, Gilbert R. Rodriguez and his wife, Alicia; grandchildren, Mark Rodriguez and Vanessa Rodriguez and brother, Reuben Martinez. The family will receive visitors from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Northwest Highway Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
