Elizabeth Sandra Lopez Santos

Sandra was born on August 11, 1957 in Dallas, TX and was a lifelong resident. Sandra attended St. Pius X Catholic School and was a graduate of North Mesquite High School. A dedicated employee, Sandra worked as the unit secretary in the Dialysis Unit of Baylor Hospital and had recently been recognized for 30 years of service. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Sandra also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: her parents Erminio (Amos) and Teresa Lopez of Mesquite; her companion, Gene Costello; her daughters, Christy Anna Orona and Teresa Sabrina Santos; her son, Marcos S. Santos, all of Dallas, TX. Sandra’s siblings include three brothers, Lupe Lopez and Richard Lopez of Mesquite, TX and Robert S. Lopez of Houston, TX. She is survived by six grandchildren: Taylor Ashley Orona, Carlos Diaz, Robert Diaz, Karissa Santos, Audrey Santos, Nathaniel Ramirez and Alyza Ramirez, all of Dallas as well as one great-grandchild that is expected in May. Sandra also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Zuleika Campos of Dallas, a son-in-law, Arturo Ramirez as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A rosary will occur on Friday, December 17th at 7 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220. The family will receive family and friends from 5 to 7 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Saturday, December 18th at 1 PM at the Calvary Hill Cemetery North Mausoleum Chapel with burial to follow.

The family would like to thank the ICU staff of Methodist Hospital of Oak Cliff for working tirelessly to provide Sandra with love and attention during her stay.
