Born December 17, 1957 in Houston and died December 26, 2011 in Dallas at age 54. Ed was a member of the Bishop Lynch High School class of 1976 , later graduating from the University of Texas and became a lifelong Longhorn fan. He played for the Dallas Rugby Club and was a strong proponent for the growth of rugby in North Texas. Ed was a Certified Public Accountant and is survived by son, Jeff Robertson; daughter, Mary Anne Robertson; mother, Mary Robertson; sisters, Mary Nelson and Linda Blake. Visitation 6-8 PM Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home. Memorial Rosary followed by Memorial Mass beginning at 10AM Friday, December 30, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Rd. in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ed’s name to the Town North YMCA Partners Scholarship Campaign.
